That’s why East St. Tammany Habitat for Humanity is proud to host the “We WILL Leave a Legacy” event, designed to help you take the essential step of preparing a simple will and healthcare Power of Attorney (POA) – completely free of charge.

What to Expect:

At this event, you’ll have the opportunity to work with experienced professionals who will guide you through the process of drafting a legally binding simple will and healthcare POA. Whether you’re a young adult just starting to think about your future or someone with more established assets, this event will help ensure your final wishes are clearly documented and protected.

Who Should Attend?

To be considered to participate you must:

1. Own real estate (land or house)
2. Have a household income less than 80% of Area Median Income.
3. Own assets valued under $250K including bank accounts, investment accounts, etc.
4. Be available to complete the will questionnaire and any pre-event sessions.
