Your car donation is another way that you can support our affiliate’s work in East St. Tammany. Donating a vehicle to Habitat for Humanity is quick and easy – complete the process in 3 easy steps. Your donation may also be tax deductible.

We also accept trucks, RV’s, vans, SUV’s, boats, and motorcycles, whether they are running or not. Towing is free! Wherever you live – Slidell, Lacombe, Peral River or Alton – schedule a time for us to come get that vehicle off your hands.

Three easy steps

Start your donation online by navigating to our donation wizard, or call our hotline: 1-877-277-4344
Our team will ask about your vehicle, including the make, model, vehicle identification number (VIN) and current mileage.
When your vehicle is accepted, schedule a day and time for us to pick it up.

Did you know that a used car can help build a new home? Donating your old vehicle to Habitat for Humanity’s Cars for Homes program helps build homes in your community and across the country.

Your old car can help families achieve the strength, stability and self-reliance that home ownership brings. Proceeds from the sale of your donated vehicle are used by your local Habitat to support building and repairing affordable homes with families right in your community.

Cars for Homes accepts cars, trucks, motorcycles, RVs, boats, snowmobiles, and even farm and construction equipment. So, turn your old ride in to a better life for families in need of a decent place to call home.
