Slidell, LA — April 2025 — Kentrell Jones, Executive Director of East St. Tammany Habitat for Humanity, recently attended the 16th Annual Dudley DeBosier Difference Maker Summit on April 1, 2025, at the Ochsner Sports Performance Center in Metairie, Louisiana. The free, one-day leadership event brought together local nonprofit professionals from across the state to network, learn, and grow together.
Hosted by Dudley DeBosier Injury Lawyers, the Difference Maker Summit was created to support and uplift Louisiana’s nonprofit community. This year’s summit featured an exciting new addition: a celebratory second-line parade featuring the Brasshearts Brass Band, embodying the spirit of community and collaboration that defines this event.
Jones represented East St. Tammany Habitat for Humanity alongside fellow nonprofit leaders, gaining valuable insights from nationally recognized speakers and breakout sessions focused on storytelling, branding, fundraising, and community engagement.
“It’s an incredible opportunity to be in a room with so many passionate changemakers,” said Jones in a WWL-TV interview. “Events like this allow us to recharge, realign, and remind ourselves why we do what we do.”
