Get a Simple Will & Healthcare Power of Attorney – Free!

Many people put off creating a will because it feels confusing or expensive. But planning for the future is important.

That’s why East St. Tammany Habitat for Humanity is hosting We WILL Leave a Legacy, a free event where you can meet with an attorney and create your simple will and healthcare Power of Attorney (POA) at no cost.

What to Expect:

This in-person event lets you work with a professional attorney to create a legally binding will and healthcare POA.

• One-on-One Help – An attorney will guide you through the process.
• No Extra Paperwork Needed – Once you’re registered, you’re ready!
• Spouses Welcome – Married couples can register together but will meet with separate attorneys and complete individual wills.

Who Should Attend?

To qualify, you must meet all these requirements:

✔ Own real estate or land (this includes a vacant lot).

✔ Have a household income below 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI).**

✔ Own less than $250,000 in total assets (bank accounts, investments, etc.).

✔ Meet with us in person before the event to complete your registration.
