East St. Tammany Habitat for Humanity has built, in addition to the 123 homes here in St. Tammany Parish, 39 homes in Ghana and Guatemala.
That every Partner Family has completed 250 hours of Sweat Equity on their home and their neighbor’s homes
Adults that are homeowners have a higher rate of civic participation and children of homeowners do on average 8% better on achievement exams than those that are renters
